How do I message someone on WhatsApp without saving their number?

Pick your country code, enter their phone number, and tap Open in WhatsApp. You'll go straight to a chat in WhatsApp—nothing is saved in Text Away or added to your contacts.

Do I need to include the country code?

Yes. Choose the country in the code dropdown, then enter the local number. For Indonesian numbers you can start with 0 (e.g. 0812…)—we'll format it correctly.
